Even Dead People Can't Escape AOL

This St. Louis Post Dispatch Column by David Sheets is sad and hilarious. David is the Tech Talk columnist for the Dispatch and is writing about one woman's struggle to close out an AOL account.

Now we've all heard that could be tough, but in her case it's ridiculous. The account she was trying to close is for her dead father.

Read the article. Laugh. Cry. Drop AOL now while you still can.

Things to do after reading this article:
Make a list of all my site secrets and sign ons for my loved ones.
Quit any service now that requires quitting via more than one method.
Throw away all those old AOL CDs I might be using as paperweights and coasters.

Your laughing blogger,
