Marianist Galleries

The Marianist Galleries has been a fount of contemporary and religious art for many years in St. Louis. Founded by Brother Mel Meyers, its exhibits fill a two-story gallery. The main gallery was orginally a farmhouse, in a wooded area in Kirkwood, Mo.

Amazing and eye catching works of art are inside and outside the galleries. On the lawn are "monumental" stone and steel sculptures, while inside is house a large variety of two and three dimensional art. The artwork inside consists of paintings, sculptures, furniture, and other works which cross boundries.

I've got a few shots here to share. Enjoy.
