Insulin Stem Cells Hold Hope for Diabetes Treatment

Link: HealthDay - Insulin Stem Cells Hold Hope for Diabetes Treatment

A new study notes the positive effect of stem cells injected into diabetic mice. More accurately, these are adult stem cells, grown in the lab. These were obtained from adult bone marrow, and then injected into mice.

The results were promising as repairs appeared in both the pancreas, where insulin is produced, and the kidney. Researchers haven't locked it down it seems, but this is incredibily promising in my opinion.

Just a reminder, this research was done with cells like adult stem cells, retrievable from adult.

Please read the article and share the hope.
